About Yad Hanadiv
Yad Hanadiv is one of Israels most influencing foundations, It is a non-profit organisation funding, supporting and initiating projects in a national and international scale. With an amazing legacy of projects in Israel from the very first days as an independent country.
Project Overview
Yad Hanadiv decided to extend their public online representation for numerous reasons. And after working with the old website for nearly a decade, they saw it as a chance to refresh the whole look.
The website - Like many others in Israel - Is a tri-lingual site.
Together with a representative from within the foundation, we conducted thorough research both outwards on what other foundations and organizations in the same caliber present and how, and inwards on what's the organization's specific needs, what did they learn from their old website and what's all the PM's expectations from the new website.

The architecture of the site was established together with the development team, in an attempt to make an all-hands holistic creation process in which all the participants know and agree about the goals, and take part in shaping both the process and the end product.

The UI and the website style guide was 100% my responsibility. And I was very lucky to have Deena Laventer from Yad Hanadiv that was fully invested in the website design and would dive into endless discussions with me about colors, typography, photography, and so on.

The Main page was designed to give the first impression, a glimpse of the enormous contribution and the huge scope of activity the foundation had all those years. Starting with a few words which are the organizations' mission statement, following with the main focus areas of this present time and ending with some legacy and history.
